Social Distancing mesures will be in place. 
No parents/ spectators will be allowed in the facility unless fully vaccinated and respect Public Health rules and regulations. 



   - Players will be divided equally into teams up to a maxium of 17 skaters and 1 goalie    

   - Teams are allocated a shared 50 minute practice time at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre.    

   - The Niagara Distrct Local League (NDLL) consists of teams from the following centres.  

Fort Erie, Stoney Creek,  West Lincoln,   Niagara on the Lake, Pelham, Thorold, Welland and Wainfleet

   - Regular season:   Each child is generally
on the ice twice a week with some exceptions.   

   - Each player will finish the season with 19 to 21 shared practices between October and March 31.
   - Each team will have up to 24 games

           - 12 Home games at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre.

           - 12 Away in any one of the other centres mentioned before.
   - Teams will be placed in sub-divisions based on regular season standings.

   - Playoffs will consist of a six (6) round robin play-down games.

            - 3 Home games at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre..

            - 3 Away in any one of the other centres mentioned before.
   - The local league season ends at March Break with only the top two teams from each sub-division grouping moving forward into the championship round. 

 Players will recieve a garanteed 40 hours of home ice including pre-season,  and regular season games and practices.  

   PCMHA provides each team not qualifying for the championship, one additional ice time for their use at the end of the season.  
This program is designed to further the development each player's individual skating skills and to teach them the basic game strategies. 

Participation in the local league program provides our players with the opportunity to play opposing teams of various ability levels, increasing the level of competition.



     Port Colborne teams adhere to article 12 of the Niagara District Local League manual of operations,  
        Article 12
        a)  All coaches must strive to provide equal ice time, period by period and game by game, except:
                i) In the last three (3) minutes of a closely contested game                           
               ii) when a coach is sitting out a player for disciplinary reasons as the result of an event that took place prior to or  during the game.


            The emphasis is on creating a fun team-building environment that promotes good sportsmanship

The  Convener positions for the Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam, and Midget divisions are all vacant.

Please note that all volunteers are required to have valid certification to the minimum of Respect in Sports (Activity Leader), and a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC).
