2020-21 season update
Submitted By Linda Knisley on Thursday, February 18, 2021
The PCMHA Executive Board has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the 2020/2021 season.    Details below:

With Niagara remaining in grey for the foreseeable future and the current provincial stay-at-home requirements, sadly the Executive has moved to conclude our 2020/2021 Hockey season and proceed with refunds and/or credits.

We would like to thank all our volunteers, coaches, trainers, and board members, who without their efforts, we would not have been able to provide programming this season.

All players who registered and paid for 2020/2021 PCMHA Hockey season will automatically receive a credit in the PlayPay account towards the 2021-2022 season registration fees. As of Monday March 1st, 2021, please refer to your PlayPay account to view updated account details.

The amount of the credit will be equal to the weeks of ice time we were unable to provide minus overhead cost such as OMHA fees, insurance, certification of coaches etc.  Anyone wishing a refund in lieu of credit must contact Lise Benson via her e-mail at [email protected] by April 30th, 2021.

CREDIT or REFUND

Under 10 and above  $288  credit or refund

Under 9            $233  credit or refund

Beginner, I.P.   $193  credit or refund

Family plan of 3 or more players   $660 credit or refund.

*Please note - participants who received funding from Jumpstart or another form of financial assistance will not receive this refund money. All financial assistance money will be returned to the appropriate organization.

We will be scheduling the collection of PCMHA jerseys and coordinating the distribution of the practice jerseys ordered for your child once provincial restrictions allow us to do so in a safe manner.  Be on the lookout for information in the coming weeks. As always, we will post any updates to the website news section and our Facebook member’s page.

The Executive Board will continue to meet virtually over the next few months to prepare for the 2021/2022 hockey season and we are hoping for a safe return to the ice this spring to offer player development and conditioning once permitted to do so.

We want to thank you in for your support and patience.

Respectfully,

Executive Board
