Intent to Volunteer for Board Position (Port Colborne Minor Hockey)

MEMBERSHIP a) *Members in Good Standing who are interested in serving on the executive must submit an endorsed Intent to Serve. This form will act as a nomination and acceptance to allow your name to stand for election at the Annual Meeting. b) Forms must be submitted to the Security via email twenty (20) days prior to the date of the Annual Meeting. c) Interested candidates’ names will be published with the Annual Meeting agenda prior to the meeting. d) All Members in Good Standing are eligible to let their names stand for any position except President. President will be nominated from existing Executive members who are currently serving a term. e) Candidates do not need to be present at the Annual Meeting to let their names stand. If they are not present at the Annual Meeting, they are not eligible to vote. f) Only members who are present at the Annual Meeting and are in good standing for the year that is concluding are eligible to vote. Membership spans September to September. New members for the upcoming season are not eligible to vote. g) No votes by proxy will be accepted at the Annual Meeting Executive voting. *Members in Good Standing means a member who has paid any membership dues or other fees owing to the OMHA and who is not subject of a disciplinary investigation or sanction by the OMHA.
