1. There will be three ten minute stop time periods.
Teams must be ready to start 15 minute before your schedule game.
Under 9 Division - guaranteed 3 games, possibility of 5 games
Under 11 Division- guaranteed 3 games, possibility of 5 games
Under 13 Divsion - guaranteed 3 games, possibility of 5 games
2. (a) NO TIME OUTS during Round Robin games.
Only one (1) time-out per team during regulation time in any playoffs games.
(b) if at any time during the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period the difference of the score is greater than 5 goals, the time clock will run straight time. It will then revert back to stop time once the goal differential is reduced to 4 goals.
3. The first team named on the schedule is the home team.
Please follow the color jersey on the schedule in brackets.
4. Points will be awarded as shown for round robin games
3 Points for a Regulation Win
2 Points for a Overtime/Shoot-out Win
1 Point for a Overtime/Shoot-out Loss
0 Points for a Regulation Loss.
If the score of the game is tied after regulation time has expired, the teams will engage in a Sudden Victory Shootout.
- with a player from each team shooting at the same time
- this format will continue until a winner is declared.
- SUDDEN VICTORY, which means if Team A scores, and Team B does not, Team A wins.
NOTE: Teams must use all of their players on the game sheet before a player can shoot for a second time.
UNLESS: Team A for example has 10 players and Team B has 15 players, Team B may also choose to use 10 shooters if they want to.
5. TIE BREAKER FORMAT:
a) Team with most wins.
b) Head to head method for Two Teams ONLY.
c) The tie breaking formula is…
Goals For / (Goals For + Goals Against)= Your Percentage. Highest % moves on.
d) The plus differential on goals for and against
e) The lowest total of goals scored against.
f) The highest total of goals scored for.
g) The team with the least number of total penalty minutes (including misconducts) in the tournament
h) If teams are all still tied after all the above, the tie will be broken by the flip of a coin.
6. SUDDEN VICTORY OVERTIME RULES FOR PLAYOFFS GAMES ARE...
NOTE: All minor penalties will end with regulation time;
All misconduct or major penalties still have to be served out, and players serving major or misconducts cannot participate until their entire penalty is over.
a) The overtime will be played in 3 sudden victory, one minute periods.
b) NO changing on the fly or at any stoppage of play, also the goalie must remain on the ice at all times during the overtime period.
c) Overtime will start with 4 on 4; then go to 3 on 3; then again 3 on 3 and if still tied, a sudden victory shoot out will occur.
- Your team will have to submitted a lineup of 4 skaters for the first overtime period (these players cannot be used again unless there is a shoot-out)
- Your team will have to submitted a lineup of 3 skaters for the second overtime period (these players cannot be used again unless there is a shoot-out)
- Your team will have to submitted a lineup of 3 skaters for the third overtime period (these players cannot be used again unless there is a shoot-out)

d) If still tied, a sudden victory shoot out will occur.

e) Minor penalties called during overtime will result in a penalty shot.
Coincidental minors shall be served in the usual manor and no penalty shots for either teams will be awarded.
Any major or match penalties called, will be served in the usual manor and a penalty shot will be awarded.
7. All OMHA & Niagara District rules apply plus the above mentioned times and overtime rules.
8. All OMHA Rosters will be available for production upon request at any time.
PROTESTS: All protests must be in writing and submitted within 30 minute of the completion of the protested game.
Each protest must be accompanied by a $200.00 cash deposit. This will be refunded if the team wins its protest.
9. SUSPENSIONS: Any player or team official receiving a match penalty will be expelled from any further tournament play.
