2019 Spring News Letter
Hi Folks,

Please find below our annual Spring News Letter with
information pertaining to upcoming events; such as the
Spring Skate, the need for coaches and other volunteers,
but most importantly the upcoming AGM and Registration
information.

                              Spring News Letter 2018-19

 

 

The Executive would like to thank the membership and the players for another fun and successful Port Colborne Sailors season. You will find upcoming important dates and information leading to the close of the 18/19 season contained in this newsletter. Have a great Summer and see you at the rink for the 19/20 season. For all the latest news and events please subscribe to our website.

 

Spring Skate: Look for dates and times on the website

 

 

Coaches Needed: We are always looking for coaches assistants and trainers for our house league teams. If you are interested please contact our Director Randy by email at [email protected]

Randy will work with you to ensure your qualifications are up to date and ready for the season.

 

AGM :  will be held Thursday May 16th, 2019 @ 7:00p.m. In the Golden Puck Room Upstairs at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre.



Elections

Elections will be held for the following positions: (completed term)

  President                     Incumbent        Paul Masotti 1st Vice President        Incumbent        Helecia Gross
Assistant Treasurer     Incumbent        Kim Gravelle
Secretary                     Incumbent        Matt Lallouet
Travel Team Director  Incumbent        Frank Hintenberger
1st Director at Large   Incumbent        Aaron Ker

 

 Membership consists of a maximum of two parents of all those under 18 who have paid annual registration fees.  Each member in good standing is entitled to one vote on each of the motions arising at the annual meeting.

All elections will be by ballot.

 

 15 days prior:

Proposed amendments to the by-laws must be submitted in writing to the Secretary, as well any new or old business items to add to the agenda (please contact Matt Lallouet for details). 

 

 7 days prior:

The Agenda will be made available to all members on the website at  www.portminorhockey.com and the Vale Centre.

The 2018 year end directors reports, financial statement and AGM minutes shall be provided individually upon request to the secretary. Copies will be made available at the AGM prior to approval.

 

 Registration:

Register at www.portminorhockey.com under the registration drop down. Please read and follow all instructions carefully to ensure proper registration. We are currently working on accepting digital payments and hope to have it set up for this years registration period. A notice will be sent to all membership when registration opens. Again we ask  that you check the website and your inbox for updates.
