The Port Colborne Atom Sailors Participated in the Vic Teal Tournament this past weekend in St.Catharines and came away as the 2018 Champions!

The Atom Sailors played their home opener this past Thursday night against the Stoney Creek Warriors. Stoney Creek scored 2 first period goals and held on for a 3-0 victory.  The Sailors and their families had to Parry Sound this weekend for the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame Tournament.

The Port Colborne Atom Sailors went into the Gale Centre on Sunday afternoon and lost a hard fought game 3-1. After a scoreless first period the Falls took a 1-0 lead into the third period. After Niagara Falls went up 2-0 the sailors managed to get back into the game and make it 2-1 on a power play goal late in the third period. With the goalie on the bench Niagara Falls managed to ice the game with an empty goal. The teams record is now 1-1. The Atom Sailors Set Sail on their 2018-19 Regular Season with a 7-5 come from behind victory over the Garden City Falcons in St.Catharines on Friday night. The Falcons scored 1st before the sailors took a 3-2 lead into the 3rd period. After the falcons scored 2 goals more to go up 5-3 the team bared down and scored 4 unanswered goals and sent the Falcons flying home with the Loss. The players of the game were Jeremy and Derek the coaching staff was very happy with how well the kids played and skated as all their hard work in practice is paying off.
